Garden Volunteer Program
Our Garden volunteer program offers you the opportunity to do volunteer gardening two days a week ( Tuesday and Wednesday) under the guidance of our Head Gardener. If you are interested show up April through September at 1030 a.m. in the garden in the thatched summer house at the back of the garden in your gardening clothes and bring small helpful gardening tools with you! If you prefer, you can call head Gardener Sandra Jebb from 10 a.m - 630 p.m for her to answer questions. Call 07811873587 or 01926 491422.
National Grid garden Volunteers
We sincerely thank the volunteers from National Grid who came to our Garden as volunteers and spent the day clearing ivy, digging, pruning trees and labouring hard to help restore it. Our Garden is 500 year old and was once known in the "1500s" as the "Great Garden". After the work done by the National Grid Volunteers and led by Plant Heritage Volunteers we are well on our way to creating a great garden again! A huge and sincere Thank you to all our volunteers and we hope you come back!
