Functions

The Lord Leycester has been hosting guests for hundreds of years and there are event spaces available to hire to carry on this centuries old tradition!

The Great Hall

Dinners, parties and other functions can be held in our Great Hall where up to 100 guests can be seated beneath the ancient, beamed roof where Kings and Queens have supped. This beautiful hall provides a stunning historical atmosphere and will undoubtedly impress anyone attending your event.

The Guildhall

The Guildhall is available for civil ceremonies and/or pre-dinner drinks. Built in the fifteenth century, the Guildhall fully immerses you with its incredible history, providing a truly exceptional experience for all guests.

The Courtyard

Our courtyard outside the Master’s House is a beautiful outdoor space for drinks and gatherings and one of the best-preserved examples of medieval courtyard architecture in England!

The Master’s Garden

The Lord Leycester’s 500-year-old garden, also known as the Master’s Garden, is a wonderful space for intimate drinks and outdoor seated events in summer. To read more about the Master’s Garden, please click here.

The Chapel

The Chapel of St James is an intimate space for music recitals or private drinks parties. One of the earliest buildings of the Lord Leycester, it was  built directly above the West Gate of Warwick in 1126 by the 2nd Norman Earl of Warwick. This enchanting space is overflowing with historic charm and authenticity. (In the 1300’s the  Chapel of St James was deconsecrated so is not available for religious ceremonies – but consider having a blessing here!)
