Parties, Dinners & Other Functions

Dine and party in some of our incredible spaces here at the Lord Leycester Hospital!
Civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts, dinners, parties, and other functions can be held in our Great Hall where up to 100 guests can be seated beneath the ancient, beamed roof where King James I dined in 1617. This beautiful hall provides a stunning atmosphere and will undoubtedly impress anyone attending your event.

We also offer the Guildhall for civil ceremonies and/or pre-dinner drinks. Built in 1450 by the 16th Earl of Warwick, Neville ‘’The Kingmaker”, the Guildhall fully immerses you with it’s incredible history, providing a truly exceptional experience for all guests.

Our courtyard outside the Master's House can be utilised as a beautiful outdoor space for drinks and gatherings. The courtyard is one of the best-preserved examples of medieval courtyard architecture in England!

One of the earliest buildings of the Lord Leycester Hospital is the Chapel of St James. Built directly above the West Gate of Warwick in 1126 by the 2nd Earl Norman Earl of Warwick, this enchanting space is overflowing with historic charm and authenticity. This space too can be used for small and intimate functions such as music recitals or private drinks parties. It should be noted that the Chapel of St James is not currently available for religious ceremonies.
