Event Hire

Dinners, celebration parties and corporate functions can be held in our Great Hall where guests are seated beneath the ancient, beamed roof where Kings and Queens have banqueted. This beautiful medieval hall provides a stunning historical atmosphere with its half-timbered roof and Seal of King James I. It is an impressive room to hold a special event.

The Guildhall is available for pre-dinner drinks, conferences or talks. A genuine half-timbered medieval meeting room with carved ceilings used by the Guilds of Warwick from the 14th century for their meetings. The Guildhall is available to hire for an exclusive event.

The Lord Leycester is one of the best-preserved examples of medieval courtyard architecture in England. Along one side of the courtyard is a covered walkway, on another the Masters House and the entry is through a small covered courtyard entrance. It is a sun trap and has the benefit of spotlights that light up the space at night as you are surrounded by the stunning medieval buildings on all sides.

The Master’s Garden at the Lord Leycester is over 500 years old. This tranquil green space in the centre of Warwick with beautiful lawns offers spaces large and small for outdoor events that include wedding ceremonies, drinks parties, children’s birthday parties and picnics. There is limited shelter in the Garden so keep in mind that an alternative wet weather option is recommended.

The Chapel of St James is the oldest of the Lord Leycester buildings, built directly above the West Gate of Warwick in 1126 by the 2nd Norman Earl of Warwick. This enchanting space is overflowing with historic charm and authenticity. In the 1300’s the Chapel of St James was deconsecrated so unfortunately is not available for religious ceremonies. However, we can host blessings here and it is an intimate space for music recitals or private drinks parties.
