Volunteering Opportunities

 

Volunteers play a crucial role at the Lord Leycester. If you think you can spare a few hours each week and would like to join our friendly team, please let us know.

 

Front of House Volunteers

The Front of House Team provide a friendly welcome to the site, by manning our ticket office and gift shop. Working with Lord Leycester staff you will be the first point of contact for the general public.

Engagement Volunteers

The Engagement Team aim to increase visitor interest in the Lord Leycester history, both on site and at off-site outreach events, by providing additional information to visitors in an engaging way.

Garden and Grounds Volunteers

The Gardens & Grounds Team maintain and develop the 500-year-old gardens of the Lord Leycester through hands on tasks around the garden including weeding, pruning, planting and landscaping.

Collections and Research Volunteers

The Collections & Research team aim to improve the accessibility and usability of the current archives, whilst adding to our institutional knowledge through individual research projects.
