We welcome enquiries for private and corporate dining, black-tie dinners, wedding receptions, blessings, celebrations of life, concerts, drinks receptions and other private functions. Spaces can be hired individually or combined to create an event tailored to you.

Drinks Receptions
The Medieval Courtyard
Surrounded by the timber-framed buildings of the Lord Leycester, our medieval courtyard provides an atmospheric setting for drinks and canapés.
It works particularly well as the beginning of a larger event, allowing guests to gather for a relaxed drinks reception before moving into the Great Hall for dinner.
Capacity: Up to 100 guests
Accessibility: Limited to the paved areas of the courtyard
Venue hire: From £300
The Master’s Garden
Our historic Master’s Garden offers a peaceful outdoor setting for drinks receptions, summer gatherings and pre-dinner entertaining.
With lawns, mature planting and views across the west of Warwick, the garden can provide a relaxed start to an event before guests move indoors for dinner.
As this is an outdoor space with limited shelter, we recommend arranging an alternative wet-weather option.
Capacity: Up to 100 guests
Accessibility: Step-free access available
Venue hire: From £450

Make Your Event Your Own
Our spaces can be hired individually or combined to create an event that flows naturally through the Lord Leycester.
Welcome your guests with drinks in the courtyard or Master’s Garden before moving into the Great Hall for a candlelit dinner, or add an exclusive after-hours guided tour to give your guests the opportunity to discover more of the remarkable site around them.
Tablecloths, cloth napkins, chair covers, candelabras and candles are also available for an additional venue fee.
Please contact us to discuss available additions and how we can tailor the spaces to your event.
Planning Your Event
As the Lord Leycester remains home to our community of retired servicemen and women, all events operate within a strict noise curfew. Music and other amplified entertainment must finish by 11.30pm, with all guests departing the site by midnight.
Our principal event spaces are available to hire throughout the day on Mondays and after 5pm Tuesday to Sunday. Other arrangements may be possible depending on the nature of your event and the spaces required, and may incur an additional fee.
