Travel Tips
1. Currency & Payments
The local currency is the British Pound Sterling (£). Most shops, cafés, and attractions – including The Lord Leycester – accept credit and debit cards, as well as contactless payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. The Lord Leycester also accepts American Express (Amex) payments. ATMs are available throughout Warwick town centre.
2. Language
English is the main language spoken, and our team of guides are happy to help visitors whose first language is not English. Printed visitor guides in several languages are available—please ask at reception.
3. Electrical Plugs & Voltage
The UK uses Type G plugs (three rectangular pins) and operates on 230V. You may need a travel adaptor and voltage converter for your devices.
