Is there a car park?
Parking on site is for staff and our older residents who need a short walk to their homes. However, there are several Pay & Display car parks within a 5 to 10 minute walk. There is one Blue Badge parking space available on site, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Alternatively, Blue Badge holders can park on the double yellow lines on Brook Street.
How long can I stay on site?
You can stay as long as you like during opening hours. Please enjoy our site and gardens all day if you wish. We recommend you leave at least two hours to enjoy all the Lord Leycester has to offer.
Is there a specific visitor walking route through the buildings?
There is a trail route to get the most from our exhibitions and story. There is an alternative accessible route for those who may struggle with steps.
Do you accept group bookings or school visits?

Do you have a cloakroom/ buggy park?
We don’t have a designated cloakroom or buggy park. However, you are able to leave buggies at the back of the great hall.
Can I buy drinks or snacks?
Our café in the Great Hall serves a range of drinks and a light food menu. In good weather we have an outside seating area at the front of the building.

Do you do Guided Tours?
Yes! We run Brethren’s Guided Tours every Wednesday and Saturday at 11am for up to 15 people! For larger Group Tours and Coach parties, please contact: ops@lordleycester.com or call: 01926 491422
