Christmas Carols by Candlelight
Candlelit Christmas Carols
In the 900-year-old Chapel of St James
For decades, the Lord Leycester has welcomed its volunteers, friends and neighbours into the Chapel of St James for its annual Christmas Carol Service. This year, for the first time, we’re opening this much-loved tradition to the public.
Join us for a special evening of Christmas music and traditional carols, accompanied by the magnificent Choir of St Mary’s, Warwick.
Gather by candlelight in our medieval Chapel and celebrate the festive season alongside the Lord Leycester community, surrounded by centuries of history.
Following the service, continue the evening in our medieval Great Hall with mulled wine and a mince pie, included in your ticket.
The evening will also raise funds for two Warwick institutions, with 50% of proceeds supporting the Choir of St Mary’s and 50% supporting the Lord Leycester charity.
Wednesday 9 December 2026
Carol Service: 6:30pm–8:00pm
Afterwards: Mulled wine and a mince pie in the Great Hall
£15 per person
Join us as we share a cherished Lord Leycester Christmas tradition with the wider community for the very first time.
