Remembrance Day Poppy Display

Remembrance Day Poppy Display | 3rd-22nd November 2026

Visit The Lord Leycester this November and see the magnificent Remembrance Day Poppy Display in the Medieval Courtyard.

This eye-catching display of more than 600 ceramic poppies was designed and created by local artist, Lottie Wilson, with the help of children from Westgate Primary School, Warwick Cub Scouts, members of the Brethren and volunteers.

The display is a fitting tribute to the Lord Leycester’s rich military history and commemorates over 450 military veterans known as Brethren that have lived within these ancient walls.

Tickets: FREE with a General Admission Ticket

Dates: 3rd-22nd November 2025

Times: 10am – 4pm (Normal Opening Times)

General Admission Tickets are available to purchase in the Ticket Office during opening hours or through our website by clicking the ‘Book Here’ button above.

Remembrance Day Visits for Cub Scouts

Bring your Cubs to commemorate Remembrance Day at one of England’s most historic sites — The Lord Leycester in Warwick.

A typical visit includes a Guided Tour, a Remembrance-themed activity, and the chance to meet one of the Brethren, who continue centuries of tradition and service.

During November, groups can also see our beautiful ceramic poppy display in the medieval courtyard (on display from 4th–23rd November).

We ask for a £50 donation per group of up to 20 children.

Step back in time at this extraordinary 700-year-old site (home to the community of Brethren founded by Robert Dudley in 1571) and discover centuries of service and remembrance.
