Garden Tours at The Lord Leycester

Discover the Hidden Stories of Our Historic Gardens

Step beyond the flowerbeds and uncover over 500 years of history with a guided tour of The Lord Leycester’s beautiful historic gardens.

Led by one of our knowledgeable volunteer guides, this 45-minute tour explores the fascinating history, horticulture and hidden features of one of Warwick’s most peaceful green spaces.

From the medieval origins of the site to unique features including the Pineapple Pit, Norman Arch, Nilometer and Warwick’s last remaining thatched summer house, you’ll discover how the gardens have evolved through the centuries, the people who have cared for them, and the important role they continue to play today.

Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a keen gardener or simply looking to experience a quieter side of The Lord Leycester, our Garden Tour is the perfect addition to your visit.
